01The Rag
What is a Salt Rag made from?
Salt Rags are Turkish cotton, hand-loomed in Kayseri, Turkey.
How large is a Salt Rag?
Each Rag measures 40 × 70 inches. It’s a full-size beach towel, with a compact fold when it’s time to pack up.
What does the flat weave do?
Instead of terry’s raised loops, a Rag is woven flat. That keeps the fold compact, while the cotton dries quickly between uses.
Does sand stick to it?
Give it a shake before you roll it up. Sand shakes off the flat-woven cloth, making the end of a beach day a little easier.
Can I see the colors in person?
Yes. The market table is a good place to open a Rag, feel the cotton and compare your favorites. Check the market schedule and confirmed attendance before making the trip.
02Care
How should I care for my Rag?
Follow the care label supplied with your Rag. If it is missing or unclear, email hello@saltrag.com before washing.
03Orders
How does shipping work?
We dispatch orders within 2–3 business days to all 50 states. Options, charges, and delivery estimates show at checkout. See the shipping policy for tracking, address changes, and delivery issues.
Can I return an order?
Eligible returns must be requested within 30 days after delivery. Read the returns policy for the conditions and instructions before sending anything back.
How do I ask about wholesale?
