After the water

Good color doesn’t need to disappear into the cupboard. Give your Rag a place at home between days outside.

The beach bag isn’t the Rag’s only home. Clean, dry Turkish cotton can bring a little color to a chair, a sofa or an open shelf. Use it as a light throw, or leave it within reach for the next day outside.

Let the color do its thing.

You don’t need to redecorate to change how a corner feels. Drape a Rag over a chair back and let the pattern and fringe show. Fold it narrower for a little color, or leave more of the cloth open when you want it to stand out.

Pick a color because you like living with it, not because every cushion and towel has to match. The same Rag can feel right beside the sofa and in the bag you take to the water.

Good color stays out.

Keep it in the rotation.

A Rag doesn’t need a separate job for every room. Move it from the chair to the beach bag when you head out. Bring it back, follow its care label, and put it somewhere you’ll reach for it again.

For washing and drying, follow the care label supplied with your Rag. If it is missing or unclear, use the customer-support contact in your order confirmation before washing.

What can you use a Turkish towel for?

Start with its main job: it is a cotton towel. Use a Rag to dry off after the beach, pool or springs, and spread it out when you want somewhere to sit. The flat weave lets it fold down small between stops. Its useful size and flat weave also lend themselves to a few everyday jobs beyond drying off.

A light wrap after the water

Put it over your shoulders or wrap it around yourself while you settle in after a swim. At 40 × 70 inches, a Rag gives you full-size towel coverage, but how a wrap fits depends on the person. It is a light cotton layer, not a substitute for warm clothing or sun-protective equipment. We do not claim a UPF rating.

A towel for travel days

Bring one along when a trip includes a pool stop, a beach break or time on the water. Fold or roll it where it fits your gear, then air it out after use. The advantage is being able to take a full-size cotton towel in a compact fold. Choose based on the coverage you want and the space you have in your bag.

A light throw at home

Drape a clean, dry Rag over a chair or use it as a light throw. The color and fringed ends can stay visible between beach days. When you do put it away, it folds into a hall closet with the rest of your towels. It is not a heavy blanket, an upholstery protector or a promise to prevent stains.

Pick the cloth for the way you will use it

Check material, dimensions and the texture you prefer before choosing a color. A flat-woven Rag feels different from a plush terry towel. For washing, follow the care label supplied with your particular Rag; decorative use does not change those instructions. Contact Salt Rag support if a label is missing or unclear.
